The Couple

 

The two argue and agree:
    Each interpreting the other
Each annoying the other
    Each confirming and refuting the other

A couple, each loving the other
    And pretending not to need the other —
Although each would, like a child in a circus crowd,
    Be lost without the hand of the other.
